Blessed with one of the most spectacular school sites in Britain, Clovelly School has breathtaking views over the Bristol Channel to Lundy and Wales and along the coast to Hartland Point and the Taw and Torridge estuaries.
We have the Heritage village on our doorstep (with no traffic, just cobbles and donkeys!), giving living learning to 3,500 years of British history from the Celts (Clovelly Dykes is the 2nd largest Iron Age hill fort in Devon), the Normans (wonderful 11th century church), the Tudors (many houses in Clovelly were built in the 16th century), the Victorians (Clovelly was completely renovated in the 19th century, and we have some great local mysteries and characters to explore) through to the present day.
Our unique location and environment is enhanced by our small classes and experienced staff, all of which make Clovelly School a very special educational centre of excellence. |
